Turkey stocks higher at close of trade; BIST 100 up 0.10%

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Leasing & Factoring, Wood, Paper & Printing and Information Technology sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.10%.

The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were LDR Turizm AS (IS:LIDER), which rose 6.78% or 9.30 points to trade at 146.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Can2 Termik AS (IS:CANTE) added 5.88% or 0.10 points to end at 1.80 and Reeder Teknoloji Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:REEDR) was up 4.90% or 0.71 points to 15.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Trabzonspor Sportif Yatirim ve Futbol Isletmeciligi Ticaret AS (IS:TSPOR), which fell 4.13% or 0.05 points to trade at 1.16 at the close. Cimsa Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:CIMSA) declined 3.85% or 1.82 points to end at 45.44 and Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:FENER) was down 3.49% or 1.72 points to 47.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 402 to 162 and 17 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.22% or 5.89 to $2,648.81 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.84% or 0.62 to hit $74.58 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 0.78% or 0.60 to trade at $77.11 a barrel.

USD/TRY was down 0.04% to 35.32, while EUR/TRY rose 0.77% to 36.70.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 108.14.
