Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.51%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.51%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 5.98% or 71.00 points to trade at 1,259.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) added 4.95% or 9,570.00 points to end at 203,000.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 4.00% or 255.00 points to 6,623.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 2.24% or 109.00 points to trade at 4,750.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 0.71% or 31.00 points to end at 4,349.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was down 0.68% or 200.00 points to 29,300.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 354 to 115 and 69 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.98% or 71.00 to 1,259.00. Shares in Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.95% or 9,570.00 to 203,000.00. Shares in Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.00% or 255.00 to 6,623.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.05% or 0.72 to $68.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $72.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 16.20 to trade at $2,681.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.55% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS fell 0.26% to 3.84.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 105.83.
