Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.18%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030), which rose 9.96% or 1.90 points to trade at 20.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) added 6.89% or 2.50 points to end at 38.80 and Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) was up 6.04% or 2.50 points to 43.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Arriyadh Development Co. (TADAWUL:4150), which fell 5.27% or 1.45 points to trade at 26.05 at the close. Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) declined 3.34% or 2.30 points to end at 66.50 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) was down 3.33% or 0.90 points to 26.15.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 156 to 156 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.45% or 1.68 to $66.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.09% or 1.52 to hit $71.04 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 2.80 to trade at $2,570.10 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.25% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 106.62.
